Benefiting the Northern Ohio Golf Association (NOGA) Charities & Foundation’s life-changing Return To Golf program

Announcing the Inaugural NOGA Scramble Championship & Clambake at Chagrin Valley Country Club

The Inaugural NOGA Scramble Championship & Clambake invites all golfers (members and non-members of all ages and skill level) to compete in a season-ending tournament on Monday, October 16th at the picturesque Chagrin Valley Country Club.  The tournament includes $5,000 in prizes* ($750 per player for first place), live scoring, senior tees and, most importantly, a clambake dinner after golf.

All proceeds from the tournament will benefit the NOGA Charities & Foundation’s life-changing Return To Golf program – serving physically disabled adults, children and veterans through the innovative combination of rehabilitation-based golf fitness and recreational therapy at the campus of the Wharton Golf Center at North Olmsted Golf Club.

 

 

Monday, October 16th at Chagrin Valley Country Club

Entries Close:  October 10, 2017 (limited to first 25 teams)

Entry Fee:  $800 per team (includes golf, carts, clambake and prizes)

Prizes:  $5,000 in gift certificates (based on a full field)

1st:  $750 per player
2nd:  $300 per player
3rd:  $200 per player

Skins Game: Optional

Shotgun: 12:00 p.m. (Clambake following golf)

Format:  4-Person Scramble

Eligibility:  Field is open to BOTH members and non-members (men & women) of all ages and skill level (amateurs only)

Tees:  Men – Blue (6,709 yards) / Women – Red (5,546 yards) / Seniors (age 65+) – Gold (6,072 yards)

Live Scoring:  Scores recorded will be recorded with an official scorer at the completion of each hole and be displayed on the noga.org website and Trailex LED trailer located on the golf course during play.
